Great stay and great elevators

Stayed here while attending our daughter’s college graduation events. We’ve stayed in many NYC hotels over the past 4 years and this was one of the best. Huge room by NYC standards and great service all the way around, including the complimentary water and beverages every day. But one of the best features, oddly enough, was their elevators. When you’re staying on the 15th to 20th floor, the speed of the elevator makes a big difference in your stay. These elevators are the best I’ve ever experienced. - fast and efficient and always working! …well done overall!

The location is great, nothing can beat it. There are a few things that I didn’t appreciate but that is personal taste- the music in the lobby is so loud at all times and sounds very badly. Probably the speaker system isn’t great. The rooms are small but nice enough. There was a surprise when we checked in and had to pay an additional £280 dollars for “free” water and juices. No one can drink that much in 3 days. It was stated at booking times that there will be some additional fees but no explanation.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Room was excellent, all furniture and bathroom fixtures were in great condition. We did have a few minor issues: a partially clogged sink, which got fixed within an hour, and a leaking handheld shower head we didn’t report. A couple of elevators worked on and off, but didn’t create crowds. Overall a great stay.
