We are very disappointed with our stay and would like to formally raise several issues. We booked a king room, however the bed provided was clearly not a king-size bed. In addition, we were unable to access the hotel’s rooftop at any time during our stay. It was either closed or we were told there was an event taking place. Despite selecting the rooftop floor in the elevator, access was not possible. We were informed that the hotel would cover the parking fee, as parking availability was clearly stated when we made the reservation. This commitment was not honored. Furthermore, the sink in the room was clogged, the room itself was extremely small, and most importantly, there were no slippers provided in the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Due to these issues, our overall experience did not meet the expectations set at the time of booking. We kindly request appropriate compensation or a partial refund for the inconvenience caused.

One of my worst stays in a hotel. First when I got there the staff at the front desk was really cold. He charged me $100 and didn’t mention what the charge was for and just put the machine in front of me. The room was very small for a “Deluxe King.” I had to call the front desk for small things like bathroom slippers and toothpaste, these are things that are usually already in the room before you get there. I asked for plates and they said they don’t have any plates, what hotel doesn’t have any plates? The only good thing about the hotel is that it’s right next to 5th Ave and a 10 mins walk to Times Square

Stylish, clean and friendly staff! We enjoyed our family stay just after Christmas. The roof top bar and restaurant was Fab with the incredible view of the Empire State Building. Our room was lovely (we were hoping for two double beds but they sold out) so my family had to get two king rooms. The shower was dazzling and the beds were super comfortable. The only bummer was either night we stayed there, I couldn't find hot water for a cup of tea to save my life! (I love it when hotels have hot pots guests can use in the room.) Other than that, it was a fantastic stay at the Hendricks. I would def stay there again.

We stayed at Hotel Hendricks for about a week. The room itself was very clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, which was a plus. However, the rooms are extremely small, with very little space for luggage. If you’re traveling with more than one suitcase, it quickly becomes cramped. The lighting in the room was also very dark, making it feel even smaller. Unfortunately, the fridge in our room was broken, and some areas of the room felt a bit rundown despite the overall nice appearance. Customer service was excellent — the front desk staff and restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. That was the highlight of our stay. That said, I wouldn’t stay here longer than two days. For an extended stay, I would look elsewhere for something more comfortable and family-oriented. This hotel feels more geared toward a younger crowd (20s–30s) rather than families. Additionally, some neighboring guests were loud and chaotic late at night, which made it less relaxing. Overall, decent for a short stay, but not ideal for longer visits or families.

On the whole, this was a good experience. Staff are very courteous and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. From our room on the 22nd floor, we had a perfect view of the Empire State Building. The hotel is very conveniently located for dining, shopping and sightseeing. However, both rooms were booked as handicap, wheelchair accessible rooms and while the shower was indeed a roll in, the automatic door opener for both the room doors and bathroom doors were not functioning at either room. So, we couldn't even trade with our kids who did not need that accessibility.

We enjoyed our stay. Very convenient and was in walking distance to many popular attractions. The staff was always polite and helpful. They had a restaurant, bar and rooftop bar, all very nice. The room was cleaned every day and for the most part quiet. The only thing we could hear while inside of the room was the shower water running from other rooms and the elevator. The only downfall for us was that the room was very small but that is understandable for NYC. Beds were okay, bring your own pillow! The bathroom was a good size and had strong, hot water pressure. Upon checkout they had a discount for a private airpot taxi. We felt safe and would return.
