We were in town for 2 baseball games. Super easy getting to and from Citi Field via the MTA. Hotel is affordable and basic. But it's clean and assuming you need a safe place to keep your stuff and place to sleep it's all great. You're a 40 minute MTA ride to Manhattan. Subway station is close by and very easy to navigate.

Worst hotel ever, noisy, holes in sheets

Holes in the sheets and pillow cases, can control the heat or AC (its set at a # only the front desk controls). Unless you like Chinese food, there is nothing to eat anywhere nearby. Car service to LGA is $25. Shower head sprays everywhere except straight. Hotel bed is hard as a rock. Mildew/mold around the shower enclosure. The room doors are not "quiet close" slamming continuously and you can hear the airport aircraft all of the time along with your neighbors talking. The continental breakfast looked like they went to the local 7-11 to get food, it was awful so we didn't eat. I would never stay here again.

We came to NY for a Mets game and found this gem! However, if you’re looking for a fancy shmancy hotel, this is not it. But for the price and location it was perfect. It was super clean, the room was huge, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is also a breeze and is on the same block and $24 for 24 hours. I only gave it 4 stars because it is outdated and the breakfast was meh… But who goes to NY to sit in their room and eat a hotel breakfast? Am I right?

Very close to subway and buses. Cheap service, they just give you the minimum. Breakfast was a joke, everything is mini even water cups, you have to go three four times just to drink a cup of water! We were three in a room and always had to ask for towels and shampoo and stuff for three people not one.

The pictures and description are not accurate. The hotel is just past a renaissance hotel (adding insult to injury) and a large garage full of garbage that myself and my daughter held our breath walking past. The front desk is surrounded by plexiglass. The desk people were pleasant and professional. The room, while not visibly dirty, was extremely cramped. It smelled strongly of mold and mildew. My daughter immediately had an allergic reaction. The bed was an odd texture. I'm not sure if it was a bed mattress per se. it was very close to the floor. The covers were so thin you'd freeze in there during this season. And the noise. We could hear everyone on the floor, my daughter was scared so we left and got a room at the nearby holiday inn. She literally danced around her room and we slept soundly.
