We found rooms had a bit of a musty smelly and felt run down. Flooring was starting to bow. There was concrete falling in the bathroom, leaking toilet and the finish was peeling off the vanity. Outside gardens were great but rooms really need some TLC .

We stayed at the Ayodya for 4 nights as a family of four ( wife, toddler son, baby daughter, and myself) and overall had a wonderful time. We booked the all-inclusive package and truly enjoyed the experience—especially our son, who had an absolute blast. The highlights were the food and facilities. The buffet had an exceptional variety, catering to all tastes, and we never got bored of the selection. The pool area was spacious and clean, and the beach was stunning—perfect for relaxing or playing with the kids. One of the best parts was the complimentary bike rental, which allowed us to explore the beautiful coastline at our own pace. That was a definite highlight of our trip. However, there were a few hiccups that impacted our experience. Upon check-in, we were told everything was in order, but it turned out we weren’t registered properly as all-inclusive guests. As a result, we kept getting asked about our room number and eligibility when accessing certain services. It was only the next day that a staff member informed us all-inclusive guests should have received a special wristband. This confusion caused unnecessary frustration and made us feel a bit unwelcome at times. Additionally, we had to follow up multiple times regarding room services like laundry and food refills, which was a bit frustrating given the standard we expected. All in all, we had a great stay and made lovely memories as a family. With some improvements in service coordination and comms.

The hotel was enormous. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Kids (9 to 15) had an absolute ball. Rooms are very old tired and smell like mould. Definitely not 5 star. Facilities are great and well- maintained. Restaurants, and bars at the hotel are expensive. We are out on the street the entire trip(approx 10 minute walk).

Resort outdoor facilities & restaurant are very good. Probably five star but room condition is not so good. It’s 34 years old resort so need renovation for room. I would give only three stars for room condition.

It was unique to see the entire Balinese culture at the resort whilst we got to enjoy the peace and serenity. Beautiful and massive place to relax. Choice of restaurants. Just attention to cleaning of the facilities especially bathrooms and linen would increase the resort level. Service at Indian restaurant needs attention but food was nice. The property is amazing but abit of outdated since they were built long time ago, the facilities onsite and activities are great for kids and family and if you just want to stay in for relaxation, there are plenty to do inside resort. The room is dated, with shower water went down very slowly to the point it feel bathroom is flooded, they try to fix but the same happen. Staffs are very friendly snd always here to help, they have club lounge access which is amazing as a club lounge, we could have free afternoon tea and free flow cocktail after 4.30. Their buffet breakfast has lots of varieties, the kids loves it.

The staff is great, the accommodation is fantastic so much the online photos don’t do it justice. Had a lot of fun riding bikes with kids and enjoying massages at the spa. 10/10
