I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The check-in process was extremely frustrating — there was a huge line, and although there were two self check-in kiosks in the lobby, neither of them worked. As a result, we had to wait in line for about an hour. I had booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child with a king bed and a sofa bed, but when we arrived, there was only bedding for three people. On top of that, the room was incredibly noisy due to a loud party at the pool area. I asked to be moved to a quieter room with two queen beds, and while we were relocated, the new room was very outdated and clearly in need of renovation. The air conditioner was extremely loud, and there was a constant noise coming from some kind of device under the sink. The bathroom was also extremely small. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the hotel definitely does not live up to its rating on Expedia.

Never again! Loud music and people fighting

When we arrived to check they had self check in. However it didn’t work. Not only did it not work for me it didn’t work for others as well. Once we got to our room we decided to walk around and people were playing loud music from there car. By night time there was a couple fighting outside out hotel door and we were unable to enter our room. Cops, fire truck and ambulance came. Meatless to say my family and I will never stay here again and this was our 2nd time visiting this particular hotel. It traumatized my small turn and we felt unsafe. We had to get security to come with us to take our stuff out. However, the front desk lady was very nice and got us a new room away from the drama. This was after midnight with 2 toddlers. Upon getting into the new room…the tub was clogged.

I did not like the hotel/resort at all. The property is outdated the rooms are ancient and filthy. They only clean the rooms every other day. My husband and I found a worm and a huge cockroach in the bathroom I couldn’t even shower to go to the airport. Parking was a nightmare and people were hanging around the property looking like they live there. It was extremely cold in the room with no way to control the heat. I will never stay here again.

We booked a three night stay and every night we had to go to the front desk to get a replacement key because our keys no longer worked. Imagine having to come back to your hotel after a great night and realizing that you’re having to stand in line to get a new key made just to get inside every night. It was definitely frustrating. Nevertheless, we survived. We also requested housekeeping and no one cleaned our rooms the entire time.

Understaffed

The pool at Avanti is great and the only reason we stayed there. After waiting in line for 40 min to check in, we got to our room and the bathroom was dirty. Pile of dirt and hairs in each corner. Rooms are basic but more modern. Beds were comfortable. They don’t service your room at all during your stay. Overall understaffed. None of the online checkin or ap stuff they send you actually works. I called 4 times before our stay and asked for connecting rooms and told we would have them but of course we didn’t. I don’t even think they have connecting rooms bc they told friends of ours the same thing and they didn’t get them either. Good location. Would not stay again.

Longest wait for checking into hotel

This hotel had the longest check-in wait I've ever experienced. It took over an hour to check-in. They had 3 workers but it was a slow process. I think it was about 90 minutes. The pool was nice and good music and bar. Room was just ok but it was not expensive so didn't bother me. Loved you can walk to Icon Park activities. Again hard to get over the initial long wait.

I liked the pool area, it is beautiful. The area has many dining options and things to do. The check in line was horrible and the self check in didn’t work. Staff was not welcoming and no additional staff to provide info. Parking was horrible, had to park very far from my bedroom because of how full parking area near my room was. They should have reserved parking per room. Room was clean
