Overall the stay was excellent. There were a couple of minor issues. One was when I checked in I thought my balance was ~600 but the girl at the desk said ~1150 and when I questioned this, she immediately said ā€œI will get my manager.ā€ The way they interacted with me made me feel bad for even asking. It turns out that the first night that Expedia said was billed at booking was not billed and they said they have not billed for the first night since before Covid. I should have checked my bank statement closer to avoid the embarrassment. Afterwards, the girl gave me my keys and handed me two bottles of water. When I said there are four of us she said there are only two bottles per room. I offered to pay for the other two but she gave them to me for free. The whole interaction made me feel bad. The only other minor issue was when we went to the room, which was lovely and spacious (on the 6th floor away from the elevator), upon entering the room it stank of cigarette smoke. Not sure where it came from. Otherwise, everything was great.

The room had a musty, moldy, awful smell to it. The sliding glass door to the balcony could not be open. The towels were clean, but bathroom look dingy. The room should have been better maintained for the cost per night!!The only good thing was the friendly staff. Will NOT return to this hotel.
