Megacon family trip

We stay at the Rosen every year for Megacon. The staff is always friendly and the price is right. The convenience of having everything so close within walking distance and shuttles available makes it worth while. The beds are not always the best but they're also not terrible.

Close to Megacon and clean and quite but the Alarm was set to the wrong time Am/PM but I had no way to fix it and I did not notice the 1st night but I was able to set the alarm to PM for the 3 AM I needed to get up for my plane the 2nd night. wait a pain. the other weird thing was the water in the Frig froze lol.

They had an issue running my card so my reservation was canceled and I was left stranded. They didn’t try to contact me in any way to resolve the issue with my card. I had already dropped my bags at the hotel earlier that day.

The battery in our smoke detector was low and it began to chirp around 3 AM the night of our stay. When I told the front desk the next morning, they were very apologetic and remedied the situation, but I feel like batteries and smoke detectors shouldn’t get to this point. They should be replaced more frequently. The water pressure for our shower was comical. That’s why I gave this hotel a great review for its eco-friendliness lol
