This was a beautiful resort as far as the architecture and rooms were very clean. The food was definitely not the best. It is also a resort with an older crowd therefore if you are looking for music and more live experience I would choose somewhere else. Overall it was a good experience but will going somewhere else next time.

We just returned from a 7 day vacation in a Platinum swim out. The area and grounds around the resort were very well kept. Between the platinum and deluxe area there were plenty of pools. It never felt too busy. The negatives for my wife and i definitely outweigh the positives. Out of the 4 restaurants we only enjoyed the TexMex and Asian. The gourmet i had the chef special crepe with scallops and shrimp. It came out with a very pungent fish odor. The flavor was that of expired seafood. The other issue we had with the restaurants was the time. By day 3 we just understood that dinner would be 90 to 120 minutes from sit down to leaving. Not sure if the resort was understaffed, but in general all service areas were slow. Other thing that was odd to us is that we could not get water bottles from any of the bars or servers. We've never experienced this before. This is our 7th all inclusive in the past 12 years and overall we just found the resort lacking in hospitality from staff.

The Property is just beautiful. The beach area is not very swimmable due to rocks, so bring water shoes. But, it is a beautiful beach. The entertainment was great. They have different types of bands every night. The dance type shows were very professional with great costumes. The fire dancing show outside was the best. The restaurants were good. The buffet could be good if you used the stations where they made hot food. They always have fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall this resort met or exceeded my expectations. We had a great time.

Nothing like a swim out suite! We loved it. Like having our own little oasis. While the food was good at the buffet, the Italian restaurant was horrible. Japanese Grill was Fantastic and the steakhouse was exceptional. The staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

I've stayed here many times, but years ago. Still a nice resort, but showing its years. While the facilities are dated, the staff, service, quality, food, and overall comfort overshadow the few minuses. Great value.

The property did a great job hosting, there were different events daily and the beach was very close and clean. First time not being sold on a timeshare while at a facility. They even upgraded our room for free. Definitely recommend.

Incredible. We had a group of friends and couldnt have asked for a better time. Jonathan and Luna (i think that was their names) running the entertainment evey night did a great job. Every night had entertainment. Casino games. A mexican game night. And the prizes were hats tshirts etc. Not just junk. We did a fishing excursion. Chefs Rubicel and Hector cooked up the fish we caught and it was delicious. The food was great at the buffet. Im usually a "reservation every night" guy but the buffet was so good and had pretty much all the dishes anyway. You really do go up to the counter and pick out a steak. And they cook it perfectly. The tacos were great. There was a pork station that I will compare every buffet to now. They did sushi one night and brought in the chef from the restaurant and he hand made it for you. So good. The beach resturant was great. Hot food and a nacho bar. Ceviche out in the sun isnt for me but the wings were way better than I expected. Good drinks. Theyll make you whatever you want and a good selection. Good friendly service from every one. Stage shows were fun. Good pool. We were back in the suite area so it was nice and quiet. The foam party was cool. The batting cages are probably more fun in Not August. We were melting but they worked. Slight issue with our reservation but the guy in the office knew exactly how we could correct it. Bed was pretty uncomfortable. Lock your sliding door if on the first floor. Coatis know how to open them.

The hotel was nice and comfortable. The food was very good, but the service in the restaurants was sometimes lacking in that it was very slow. The drinks were very good and bar service was great. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The beach was a short walk, and had lots of chairs, a beach bar and small outdoor cafe. There are a lot of rocks in the water so bring water shoes. We had a nice room with a king bed, pool view and large balcony. Pool towels are in the room, not the pool. We didn’t have a way to exchange wet pool towels except to go through housekeeping. Our room never felt really clean. The floor wasn’t swept daily, and there were cobwebs behind the door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Night entertainment was good, staff was great at the bars while some of the wait staff at the Yucatan buffet need to be more attentive. The room where we were had a small water leak coming from back of the toilet upon arrival (There was maintenance staff hammering for couple of days in the next room), went about my business thinking nothing if it..It was flooding the entrance to the the room a couple of days later. We were moved to a different room where the walls in the bathroom looked just like the other bathroom with the paint blowing out from humidity and a strong mildew smell.

Rooms were not the cleanest and the resort was a bit old. Wait staff at the restaurants were very rude and not accommodating, but the staff everywhere else was very kind. Beach access was great (probably the nicest along that whole stretch of resorts) and it was always easy to find a spot. The resort is not big and so it is easy to get around.
