I initially booked a week stay at the Palm and received a warm welcome from reception on arrival. I had booked a loft room which was large for one person and it had a lovely balcony overlooking Calle 8th and the corner of 5th which was great for people watching. The hotel has an amazing location next to all the bars and shops on 5th but if you’re a light sleeper or enjoy an early be warned you may want to bring ear plugs as it gets quite noisy with music blasting from surrounding bars and hotels and the music from the palm’s own rooftop. The housekeeping were amazing the room was spotlessly clean throughout my stay, however cleaning times varied each day it could be 11am or 2pm and my room was not cleaned on the final day as I asked them to come back a bit later which they didn’t. The Palm has a lovely upstairs pool area with bar, restaurant and great views looking out to the ocean, the service is ok and staff could have been friendlier. The palm is rated as a four star hotel but I can’t quite agree with this rating for the following reasons: - bed linen had cigarette holes in it - bath towels were small and all stained - beach towels were not proper towels and made of a cheap cloth - coffee grounds in my room were not given for all of my stay - the pool was filled with dead flies & needed more regular cleaning. Overall a very pleasant stay but management needs to work on attention to detail for a perfect stay.

Estadia de fin de semana placentera para celebrar por el día de las madres. Su ubicación hacen una perfecta estancia, las paredes de la habitación requiere pintura y más detalles de limpieza, sin embargo es comoda. No nos dejaron shampoo, y en el labavo dejaron acondicionador no jabón. Hubiera sido beneficios para ambas partes, que nos brindaran los beneficios por ser miembros Expedia VIP, ya que tuvimos que preguntar...etc, Nos comebtaron al checkin que estaba Prohibido fumar en todas las instalaciones del hotel, el cual descubrimos es condominio, pir lo cual subimos a conocer el roof pero la primer noche cenamos fuera ya que queriamos fumar y pues perdieron ese ingreso ustedes. Al dia siguiente la pasamos genial en el roof, conocimos en el roof a Antonella, y es por ella que danos las 5 estrellas de este review ya que es super servicial y amable. Aunque fue al final del día que nos enteramos podiamos fumar, ya que le comentamos que ya nos.ibamos para poder fumar y de haber sido por la mala info del check in la estancia hubiera mejorado la experiencia. En fin, gracias por todo. Todos muy amables en el roof. Jardines muy lindos, elevadores y áreas comunes limpias. Habitacion comoda. Gracias, volveremos quizá por su ubi, comodidad y ambiente en el roof.

The room was a good size. The shower had two shower heads but we were only able to use one. Once the shower head was on it created a major leak in the room. There aren’t any additional towels or blankets. We loved how close it was to everything but the smell in the room is overwhelming.

I booked with Expedia multi travel city city Boston to Cancun Cancun to Tampa, Tampa to Boston with hotel stay, and I paid with one luggage but learnd yesterday at the JetBlue that Expedia agent did not add 1 suitcase from Tampa To Boston, so I have to pay for that$50,00 at the check-in JetBlue.. very upsetting 😡

This place is unique- 2 blocks from the beach is great. The garden is 4/5 stars, beautiful lush greens, nice seating areas, very cool and well maintained. The roof top pool and bar is nice- 3.5/5 stars, good drinks, nice pool, can see the ocean, tables for the "bar tops" crappy, but really enjoyed the service here. The rooms- crap 2/5 stars and being generous. Clean but old, basic, needs up keep, the furiture on the private balcony terrace needs tossed- completely falling apart, the kitchen is crap, and the cupboarss and tables are old wood that needs replaced. No rugs no decorations. Very meh. For us the stay was fine, i drank wine and read my book in the garden, and we had nice sunset cocktails at the roof pool (the mural art work is awesome). Room was a disappointment, but worked.

Well for starters the floor in my room was never cleaned and my feet were black after walking around for a few minutes. The coffee was never refilled and no extra water was replaced in my room even though I had VIP service. And to top it off I had 300USD stolen from bags (it was hidden really good) but my bag was rifled though buy what i can only assume was the house keeping staff and 3 100 dollar bills were missing. I will not be staying here again.

EXTREMELY DIRTY!!The bed sheets were dirty, stained, and covered in hair. The pillows had a horrible smell and hadn't been changed either. The toilet was flushing. I called reception at 4 pm and they only left me one sheet to change the sheets since there was no cleaning staff. It was very, very dirty. And hair in the headboard I took some pictures

Just OK!

We rented a room for 3 nights and 3 days. The location is great since it is a short walk to Quinta Avenida and a block or two from the beach and a 5 min walk from the bus terminal. The Hotel itself needs an upgrade! Our room as just Ok! The kitchen area had a sink that was old and rusty. The room had coffee and 2 bottle waters which we used the first day and they were never replaced while we were there. The towels were old and thin and looked far from white. There was no warm water coming from the shower even though we mentioned this and accordingly they said they checked it and it worked, well it never did. The only thing we liked were the drinks at the rooftop bar. The pool water was very cold so we used the hot tub which was ok. The Concierge was helpful recommended a great buffet for breakfast and the employees were nice. However, like I mentioned before the place does need an upgrade. I must mention that the bed which was comfortable!

Not Adults-Only As Advertised & Lacking Basic Amenities - We booked this property specifically because it was advertised as an "Adults-Only" building (ages 14 ), exactly what we wanted as parents of five children looking for a quiet getaway. Unfortunately, the rooftop pool and hot tub were filled with screaming kids ranging from babies to around 10 years old—yelling, splashing, and likely peeing in the pool. Definitely not the relaxing, adults-only atmosphere we expected. On the positive side, the rooftop restaurant offered a great happy hour, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. However, the unit lacked basic amenities: we received no Wi-Fi information or instructions upon arrival, no face cloths, no conditioner, only one bath towel and one hand towel for the two of us. Bedding consisted only of a bottom and top sheet, without blankets or duvets. The unit itself was clean, but the coffee maker was dirty and gross—we decided not to use it. Overall, disappointed as our primary reason for booking (Adults-Only experience) was not respected.

Nice location, good pool area but NOT ENOUGH shade umbrellas around the pool and hot tub. Hot tub was warm one day then cold the next three days. You only receive two very tiny bottles of purified water each day, which is quite odd. You actually need to buy your own overpriced water at nearby stores. Definitely could use an upgrade in that catagory
