Serviced apartments in Potts Point

We arrived early and were pleased to be able to check in and leave our cases for the day as well as use the spa facilities to change. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We thought the rooms, although comfortable, were very ‘tired’. Scratched furniture and out of date amenities. The chair in the room was very uncomfortable to sit on. One disappointment was our experience of bar 36. We arrived early and had a small table by a window. It took staff a long time to serve us. The food was very good the drinks very expensive. At some point when we were considering ordering a second drink we were asked if we would move to an inside table so that another group could have our table. We declined. We had not been advised that the table was reserved or that we could only have it for a short time. We had spent a reasonable amount of money. If the person who asked us to move had offered us some form of compensation- a free drink for example - we could have been persuaded to move easily but he did not. He seemed intent on making us feel as though we were in the wrong. Eventually he found us another window seat and we moved. This rather spoilt our whole experience of your highlight bar.

Smithys bar good value for a meal

Good location,,big room with 2 queen beds, bathroom is big too plus a small kitchen inside. But some small parts are not in good shape.
