Updated location. Great place. Near the exit to the supermarkets in bucerias. The place itself is so relaxing. There were families, but they were great about having the families in their designated pool. The views were amazing and the service great. Quick check in and the room was wow. The view from the room, you could see the whole building plus the ocean. Only stayed here for one night. The grill restaurant staff was amazing, they accommodated us and the food there was exceptional. The buffet food was ok, lots of options for everyone so that’s a plus. They always had lots of veggies and fruit out to suit everyone’s needs.

Misleading information. They shut down 3 of the 5 restaurants with no prior notice. They ad and sell you amenities that are not being offered. Check out is at 12pm and my flight did not leave until 9pm. The expected me to pay for late check out just to be able to stick around the pool area and beach area until it had to leave for the airport.

Travelled with my husband and 9 year old son. Property is good for kids as it has 2 big pools and nice adults only pool which we unfortunately (but understandably)could not use. The buffet was good with lots of options for kids . We actually preferred the options at the buffet and therefore only tried 2 of the other restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, always felt safe. The rooms were a bit dated but fine for the amount of time spent in there . Not much for shows in the evening, some DJ music and name the tune . Overall I would say it’s 8/10 and would come back although so many other resorts that I would like to try! Thanks Krystal Grant for a chill week with LOTS of sun !!

Our stay was nice and staff were very nice. The room itself was not that nice for being a junior suite. The room needed a lot of work, there was water damage on the ceiling and doors.

Jusy returning from a week at this resort. Thr plus was it's smaller and doesnt have a huge mass of patrons, but.... The foid wasnt great. Long beverage lines and little wait staff. The noise was ridiculous. Sometimes beginning at 730 a.m. until midnight and then the hallway moise wasnt filtered. Our room had everything we needed and was comfortable. We were part of the Altitude Club so had a little enlclosed area of ppol connected to the othwr Altitude rooms. The noise in our room because of its location next to passerby was feustrating

This was my first time to Puerto Vallarta. The resort was very nice, clean, with great service. They treat Expedia members as VIP’s! The all inclusive restaurants were extremely good! Will definitely come back!

The resort is on the smaller side and not much to do for kids other than the main pool. Beach area was nice and clean. Only recommendation we could make to the resort is to have the pool closest to the beach for everyone and not just adults. Other then that the staff and service were great and the food was good enough

We had a great time during our family vacation at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta – All Inclusive and would definitely come back again. The resort has beautiful pools, great amenities, and overall friendly staff that made our stay enjoyable. While the rooms were average and could definitely be cleaner and more updated, the overall experience made up for it. We stayed on the 6th floor and unfortunately, the elevator went out several times during our visit, which was inconvenient—especially if you have children. One downside was the person in the lobby who sells the activity packages—they were extremely rude and not welcoming at all. Thankfully, the separate Expedia check-in area was smooth and the representatives there were helpful and kind, as were the front desk staff. A highlight of our stay was dining at The Grill—the food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we loved it so much we went back a second time. Cannot recommend that restaurant enough! With a few improvements to the rooms and service consistency, this resort would be even better. But overall, we had a fun, relaxing time and would recommend it to others.

A Complete Disappointment – Altitude Upgrade Is a Scam! We traveled with 17 family members and paid an extra $3,000 for the Altitude upgrade at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta. We were promised beachfront rooms, premium alcohol, and VIP treatment — all lies. Our “beachfront” room was pool view with a distant glimpse of the ocean. Other family members who didn’t upgrade but booked through Expedia got the same rooms. VIP check-in was in a basement with no welcome drink and food that looked like it had been sitting out all day. Our room was outdated: stained furniture, a leaking sink, broken toilet seat, bad smell, barely any hot water, and a fridge with just 3 beers, 3 pops, and 2 waters. Only one robe and a broken espresso machine. Worst of all, the room constantly smelt like septic — it was disgusting. Noise from the nightclub above made it impossible for my kids to sleep. When I asked for help, I was threatened with jail by a manager and told I was “jealous” of my family’s rooms. Staff were rude, the resort was dirty, the drinks reused unwashed plastic cups, and food was salty and gross. The only real benefit of the Altitude upgrade was first to reserve the restaurants. The best part of this trip was being with our family — the resort was a disaster. Save yourself the stress and don’t book here.
