When you walk in the lobby is absolutely gorgeous. However, after checking in you have people working there trying to sell you something or have you attend some type of "meeting" so that you can get a "free massage" at their spa. That being said, the spa is GORGEOUS but the prices are outrageous. I have stayed at all-inclusives before so yeah I was a bit disappointed with this one . If you are trying to swim in the ocean do not stay hear. The "sand" is all rocky and the water is not safe to go into. Pool closes at 8pm and waiters waitresses stop serving at 6 pm. You have to make a reservation for the restaurants which is annoying. The food was delicious however I did get food poisoning and so did my 15 month old baby, it was horrible. Liked it but will not be staying there again.

Really nice pool area. Close enough to the malecon that it is a reasonable walk (20-25 minutes). Good breakfast options just 10 minutes away. If you want a great pool and walkability, and not all inclusive...cant do much better!

We booked a room with ocean view on a higher floor and realized later that this was the best decision we made. Although there wasn't a balcony or terrace outside, the room was very bright. We woke up to the million dollar view every day and that will be the perfect lasting "vocation" image in my head. Love the location too, about 10 minutes walk to the Malecon, $22 white taxi from the airport. Used the thick bar beneath the windows to hang our swimsuits, a convenient feature.
