The staff were so kind and helpful always! It was also very clean and tidy always, our rooms and the common areas! The breakfast pastries and coffee were also yummy. I do wish the bar had been open for business so there was a bit more sociableness in the evenings

Property was conveniently situated in Union Square and was just a few blocks away from BART. Rooms were small but clean with comfortable beds. The main issue was that we didn’t have hot water for two nights of our stay! Front desk was unhelpful in keeping us updated on the situation and whether we would have access to it again.

The manager atvthe front desk will ALWAYS great you with a smile and have a conversation with you. The staff is very knowledgeable about the city. This is a hotel with great caretaker. The rooms are comfortable and well kept.

It was a great place to stay. It's an older hotel, very retro. It has all the basics we needed. Theres a parking garage across the street and plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

Perfect location, right near Union Square. Hotel is old but well maintained. Huge beds , very comfortable. Good value. Only issue was that the hot water takes a long time to come through. Otherwise very good stay.

Loved the hotel! Great area, staff was very attentive and helpful. The only issue was they had a fabulous bar with a pub like atmosphere but didn’t sell alcohol! But, overall, great stay!
