Staff was amazing after rude staff at the previous hotel we booking a new room here and they were so nice and helped us get checked in early I booked the wrong dates and they helped us get that situation resolved I should of stayed here my hole trip!

I’ll make this quick… What I liked - Location. Right across the street from the Seattle Public Library. Amazing building. It’s also very close to great restaurants from 4 stars to sports bars. Lots of options. Close enough to Pikes Market as well. Beds were very comfortable. What I didn’t like - They push the auto check in way too hard. They have great people at the desk. Let them check us in. Also the room had no air conditioning. They had a sign that said they switch from heat to air conditioning in the summer. This feels ridiculous. I’ve never seen a hotel that could only have heat or air conditioning. Not both. Our room got very warm at night and I had to open our window. This brought in the predictable city noises into our room. Overall - Hotel is clean and the staff was great. The valet service was great although at $54 I thought it was a little pricey. The hotel is solid but could lock up a few weak spots. C

Frustrating service

A lot of headaches and waiting. Had a problem with tv, coffee maker, valet was messed up and slow and was a total headache every time coming or going, breakfast was not delivered there so was not available in the morning yet already paid for. Just a lot of issue throughout my stay and pretty stressful and frustrating.

Exterior and lobby make it look nice. Room was extremely small, bathroom could barely be moved in, and the only option for cooling off the room was to open the unscreened window which meant listening to sirens and hollering all night.

This property was not as clean and had small bits of damage and lack of care on the property. As well, when going to check out, they said the continental breakfast was available in the coffee shop next door for free. As well the windows were warped and I was not able to get access to the temperature control in the room so the only way I could make the room comfortable, was by forcing the windows open.

A bit overpriced for the condition of the rooms. Television wasn't able to get any channels. They said it happens all the time. The staff was very nice. This was our second time staying here, but will stay somewhere else next year.

While the room was updated and clean, the temperature control is a huge problem. The room was very hot upon check-in. I then discovered that they don't offer cooling until May, which is ridiculous. They literally tell you to open the window, but it's incredibly loud outside and the window has no screen, which seems very unsafe to open more than a few inches. Even with the window cracked open, it was too warm, so they offered me a fan. The fan helped somewhat but is also a sign that they know this is a consistent problem on warm spring days. The fan had a temperature sensor which indicated that, even with the window open, the room temperature ranged from 74 to (at its worst) 77!! Normal room temperature is 68-72, so frankly this is absurd. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was also empty and broken, and I told the concierge about it since no one was at the desk. They never came to fix this, even on the second day. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially if comfort and service are a priority.
