If you'd like to stay in Shirakawa, do think about pre-booking a room as early as possible, because you won't find a huge range of hotel choices in the vicinity of the town centre.

The Shiramine Onsen Happo, Chubu, which is the closest accommodation, lies 25 kilometres from downtown Shirakawa. If those options don't float your boat, you could have a look at the RYU Resort & Spa, located in Gifu, which is 25 kilometres away.

A couple of accommodation options that are worth considering include the Sun Members Hirugano and the Shirakawa-go Hostel. The Sun Members Hirugano is 25 kilometres from the main part of Shirakawa. The Shirakawa-go Hostel is situated 6 kilometres away. Alternatively, you may like to explore the possibility of finding a room at the Ichirino Kogen Hotel Roan. It is situated 15 kilometres from the main part of Shirakawa.
