The rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. The hot tub felt like we were getting drowning in chemical fumes… the whole pool area honestly just felt stuffy. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast! About 15 minute walk to St.Ignace downtown which was great! All around, we are very pleased with our time.

The property was in pretty rough shape when we went (June ‘26). Undergoing lots of construction / renovations. The room itself was clean enough and comfortable. Staff was great. Hopefully the improvements they’re working on lead to a better overall experience.

What started as an overnight stopover ended up being a very enjoyable 5 day stay. The room we chose, a pet friendly one, had been completely remodeled, all modernized and immaculate. The grounds are well kept and plenty of room to walk our dog. The staff was courteous and pleasant and they have a very nice breakfast. We are budget conscious as seniors, so we were very pleased with the price. It's an extra $30 for the dog but we'll worth it. St Ignace was fun to explore while staying there. The owners are working hard to update and remodel. We'll be back!

The room was clean and updated. However, the wifi in the rooms across the road, not in the main building was not working at all. I do not think they ahve routers in that building at all. The main building looks authentic and unique. Overall, 4 out of 5 because of inavailability of WiFi.

Going thru major renovation. Our building was complete. But on our 2nd day there they had people staying upstairs and next door when more than half the rooms were empty. We heard the people above us. Food was OK. Asked for 1-2 chairs and we never received them. Asked for 2nd remote for 2nd TV and got it the next day.

We were not informed that the property was under renovation. When we arrived, we checked in, are room was not attached to the hotel. We had a large trash dumpster overflowing right next to the room that they expected us to stay in. We went back to the front desk and questioned why. Woman was not very friendly. I said the hell with it asked to check out. She said she couldn't even print a receipt that we were leaving. I just ate the money I guess. We stayed at a real motel, the Quality Inn down the road. Much cleaner. You should probably inform your customers of the situation. Not happy, I'm out basically $100.00 Plus, I had to pay $120.00 for a clean room. Thank you for asking. Please tell other people, so they don't have the same awful experience. The next person may not have the money for another motel. Luckily, I saved for 6 months for my trip. Thanks again, have a nice day!

The room was newly remodeled. Fairly clean. The refrigerator was very small fyi The TV must be the smallest I've ever seen for such a huge wall. I would say it's 23inches although I didn't measure it. It does prove difficult to see the picture very well and if you need to close caption you'll never see it from the beds. The bathroom wall next to the toilet look like it had some dried nasal discharge. Exactly! It's kind of enough to turn you off of the typical mediocre Hotel breakfast of mini muffins waffles yogurt milk, machine coffee that tastes like instant. You may want to get McDonald's coffee. There was no half and half only artificial coffee mate. They did have whole milk in the fridge. There's orange juice a toaster a microwave oven. They stop breakfast at 09:30! Seriously I do not know why some hotels do not serve until at least 10:00 a.m. if not 10:30. That I did not care for we nearly missed it but I was able to squeak in a waffle before the Clerk took everything away. Also the hot tub temperature was fine the water was murky and when you turn on the Jets it barely bubbled. Caution, the pool water was cool, fine for this summer. However to me it smelled like sweat. Yuck. It looks as though they are continuing some renovations and I hope it continues down to the pool and they replace the carpet and give the pool a good scrub and maybe a new painted lining or whatever they do with the concrete. Also the hot tub need some TLC.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was hot with good pressure, the AC worked well with no issues. The room was remodeled recently, and it made for a nice trip! Would stay again and would recommend. Plus, the price was perfect!

My room smelled like airplane glue, i had a headache for 2 days afterwards. The balcony and sliding patio door had no screen, so i could not open and air out the room. Whoever was recently working in the room seemed to have it open as there were many mosquitos in the room. Breakfast was over run , nowhere to sit, on replenishment, i scooped up some food, the replenished egg and sausage were cold - i went to mcdonalds. the room is a good size, they are in the middle of renovations, the bathroom was nice, the tv is laughable at 32", for a newly renovated room that is kinda funny. the beds were comfy and i slept well with the in room fan/ac unit on to try and lesson the overpower glue smell to some extent, i can't see how someone can rent a room out in this condition in good conscience.
