We had a very clean room. The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. We both had to get up rather than lay around for some extra time because our backs were hurting. It was a one-night stay and we would probably book again as the price was good and service was good as well.

Staff great. Our room was away from main building and property building needed major remodeling. The windows were filthy and screen broken. Floor was awful. Bed slept good and bathroom was clean. Air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t hear tv.

We stayed here for 1 night for the St.Ignace car show. The location was perfect as the car show started right in front of the hotel. For being an older facility, it is pretty well kept and the front desk staff were all very friendly. The bedroom was spacious but the box springs and mattress could use updating as the sheets were lose which exposed a very dirty stained box spring. Parking was easy and convienent as well.

The furnishings in the room were old and worn out. The room was large and the bathroom was clean. Two rooms on either side of me had dogs and they were walking them and hanging out in front of my room with the dogs barking at each other for about an hour. The people eventually went back into their Rooms and it got quieter. Breakfast was OK. They offer tickets for sale for the ferry to Mackinac Island, as well as free transportation to the ferry terminal.

There were bugs crawling on the walls and ceiling in the first room we checked into! After I killed several I called the front desk to get another room. They said they would send someone to inspect it! 20 minutes later when no one showed up I went to the lobby and demanded another room. The second room also had a few bugs but we were exhausted, traveling alone with two kids, so we just ended up staying there! At any point there were only 2 people working in the entire property, so service also sucked!

Outdated

It’s more outdated than the pictures really show. The paint is peeling in the bathroom and the screen door was broke had a hole in it told front desk and got we will add it to the chat. The breakfast could have been way better so unorganized. Definitely could hear in the next room. Overall for a night last minute it was ok. Just not sure I would make this a top stay coming back into st Ignace.

The location was convenient and room was clean. They do have a shuttle to Mackinaw Island but had to all the front desk to call twice. That is where the good ends. No hot water in the shower and barely in the sink. When explained to the front desk the answer was "Yeah that happens when we are busy" Breakfast was a joke with rubbery eggs and not much to choose from. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Outdated property. Shortest toulet i have ever seen. Shampoo was not refilled before our arrival, so we used our own. AC unit blew right on our heads while sleeping. Breakfast was not stocked well - out of mulk, coffee and waffle mix.
