We had a wheelchair access room so it was nice and spacious. The building was under repair and did look a little old. Bed was comfy
The best is the hot 100% mineral pool in your unit - super relaxing, a treat for your skin & your mind. There were plenty of spare pillows, blanket and plenty of towels + teas/coffees etc - a whole bottle of milk - very very generous. Staff are super helpful & friendly - it was the best motel I stayed ...
This family-friendly Katikati lodge is located in a rural location, 2.1 mi (3.4 km) from Hiaku Park, and within 12 mi (20 km) of Athenree Hot Springs and Leveret Estate Winery. Omokoroa Beach and Te Puna Quarry Park are also within 16 mi (25 km).
It was okay but our room was on the ground floor near the entrance, there were no nets only curtains so it was like being in a gold fish bowl so we kept the curtains closed most of the time, the lounge suite wasn't very clean and it was old. But the staff were lovely
