We booked this house because it was advertised with 3 bathrooms. When we checked in there were only two bathrooms. I contacted the host who said they felt sorry for me not reading all the listing details. Several pages down in the fine print it does say that you need to book with a large group of 11 before they will provide the code to use the unit - which is apparently where the third bathroom is. They did not offer the code to unlock the third bathroom for my group. Regardless of hiding the details in the fine print, it feels dishonest to advertise this place as having 3 bathrooms when that is not what everyone gets. I would not stay here again.

We stayed as an extended family for a week and greatly enjoyed the space, facilities and location - ideal for five adults and four children. It was just across the road to a classic open beach. Five minutes from supermarkets. But an easy reach by car to Tauranga and Mt Maunganui. Even Rotorua was an easy drive away. We made good use of the BBQ and ample fridge space. We created great summer memories.

Fantastic and relaxing home base

Spacious property with almost immediate access to the wonderful beach makes it a very relaxing place. We, a family of 4, plus grandparents had by far sufficient room and privacy while we could enjoy tome together in the large kitchen and living room.

prime location for winter unwind

a great spot with easy access to beach, Papamoa shops and a short bus ride or drive to the Mount. Kitchen was well appointed but could use a bit more crockery and pots and pans for cooking to suit six including 2 hungry teens. And the tech to make the TV work to full potential was a bit beyond my expertise. But overall a great experience and greatly enjoyed. Highly recommend.
