There was a massive group of hockey players that took over the pool and hot tub and were not supervised and were smacking each other with wet towels and swearing and whistling at my 15 year old daughter. They made sexual comments toward her too, it was really awkward. It was super loud, and people were smoking weed in the hallway of our room. It wasn’t family friendly. The front desk clerk was a Spanish lady and she was super nice. I felt bad for her because there were tons of people milling around the lobby, it was super loud.

It’s generally a nice hotel. Just needed some attention to details, including a squeaky bathroom door and missing TV remote. The hot tub had nice pressure while the water was luke warm. The airport shuttle was efficient with little wait time. All the staff we encountered were friendly and responsive.

The front desk receptionist was lovely and helpful. When I reported the air con not working gin in my room she immediately sent a service repair person up and then changed my room to a penthouse room when they couldn’t fix the issue. The problem with this hotel is it’s clearly a high turnover, quite worn out hotel. Nothing wrong with that- it’s an airport hotel. But the marketing is off key- I wouldn’t class this as luxury at all. Even the penthouse room I was in- grateful as I was to be there- had cheap furniture, cupboard, a cheap faux leather sofa …a kitchen area with crockery even though the airport is in the middle of nowhere with no access to grocery stores unless you have a car. And even basic amenities like free bottle water weren’t available. It’s fine overall, but that’s it.

The room smelled like a glade plug in. There were bugs in my room in bathroom and on wall in living room. The sliding door was very dirty with big streaks. The shower had mold and dirty cracked cocking. Kept hearing loud banging.
