New West' hotel with character

Characterful hotel in city centre with its own downtown bar next door. Friendly reception and smooth check-in. If you want to get a real feel of Vancouver's New West' then this is the place for you, if you usually prefer a hotel chain .. then you'll probably be happier booking elsewhere ..

Very old propertt and room, carpet stained an worn. Staff told us that the owners don't invest in maintenane. As by the words of one employee, "it's more used by people who drunk too much to drive and need a place to spend a night". Definitely not a place for families or couples on vacation

I’m very impressed with the staff which is why I always try to come back when I visit my son in a hospital nearby. Your staff are pleasant, helpful and always go out of their way to do that “bit extra” without being asked. And always with a smile 😄. I had one issue with my room and it was reported and addressed immediately. Wow !! 😘

Is very good location, the quality, privacy in the rooms is excellent, the only think is about to be more careful with the early check in, because in my case i give notice since the moment of reservation, I call like three times but in the day of check in my room not was like a priority even if i was agree to pay the early check in fee, is the only thing because the staff solve the situation in a very good way, excellent service

The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. I had two reservations on different days of the week They were gracious to hold my luggage until check in. I e if the days I came in at 7:30 am and I finally checked in around 3:45 pm. They remembered who I was and addressed me by name.

The hotel room was pretty small and basic, comfy bed, glad for the AC and fan but wish I could open the window. I also with there was a place to heat food and maybe a kettle, as the coffee maker had to be restarted many times to work. The room was clean and halls were quiet. Only thing was the bar next door which was a little loud when entering but not a big deal. Overall less expensive, convenient and close to everywhere so I would likely return.
