Check in was fast and easy, but it was like booking into a 1970's time-warp. Room was clean, but everything looked and smelled like it'd been there a very long time. Noise from the road was loud as the windows were from a greenhouse, electrical sockets and light switches weren't new when Edison invented the light bulb but at least the shower was good and the toilet paper was nice quality.

Very convenient location for visiting and exploring Whanganui. Easy walk along the riverside to the town centre. A bit dated but everything works, plenty of parking, friendly staff.

Perfectly good stay

Really lovely and helpful service. They were quick to find a better single bed when we asked as the original was soooooo soft it bent in half. Nowhere to hang towels but they quickly ensured we had clean ones each day to compromise. Good amenities but tired (remote control batteries held in with tape, cupboard door’s that don’t shut). Very handy location. Overall, it was about right for the price we paid.

Reasonable price for an older motel with some modern features such as new flooring. Good appliances in kitchen area. Good heating from the main area heatpump. Bathroom cold and no heating but great hotwater and shower pressure. Some of the electrics, eg power point for tv, looked a bit unsafe. King bed mattress firm and comfortable.

Very good stay.. near the road but rm number 3 that time got road works and it was very noisy too early in the morning.. but not the hotels fault i suppose
