Check in was horrendous. Checked in early, room was not ready which was ok. We came back that evening, checked in “again” at a different reservation desk and different place. Then was sent to another desk to get our keys to get a big spill on a timeshare. After arguing for an hour that I was not interested I finally get to go to my room/unit. I booked a handicap accessible room keep in mind and it was steps up to the unit. So I get in my van and drive back to the reservation desk to let them know it was not accessible to get into. We waited almost another hour to get switched to another unit that had a ramp to the unit but the unit was not accessible. By this time we are very tired I didn’t care we only wanted a bed. We had to move furniture just so my handicapped wheelchair user daughter could get in the door. It was just a miserable check in process.

Nice property, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. No trouble with parking. However, the Wyndham check-in desk personnel would not give me my room key unless I signed up for a timeshare presentation with a $60 non-refundable deposit.

Although the rooms were great- the noise was annoying! It kept us up throughout the night. Whether it was other guests, cars driving by, or random sounds- It was hard to get a good night sleeps especially with a newborn and toddler

Our room was immaculate. It was apparently refurbished and was very nice. We've stayed here for many times over the years and was sad to hear it will be closing the end of this December and is being sold. We hope the new owners keep it as a resort.

The room was nice, clean and well appointed. The check in desk staff was welcoming and efficient. However, the concierge was quite annoying and pressured us tour the facility. After check in, we continued to receive emails regarding scheduling a tour. We visited for a family weekend not a time share presentation.

It was an okay stay. Close to everything. Clean. A little dated unit. The biggest problem was we booked Patriots Place. We got a call day of arrival that we would be staying at this property. We previously booked a full kitchen for Thanksgiving. Well this resort gave us an efficiency kitchenette. On top of that, at check in they charged $75 amenity fee, which we knew nothing about. Finally the charge was reversed because Patriots Place does not have that fee. We have always stayed at Powhatan Plantation, which I like better, much bigger units.

The place was inviting, clean and had plenty of space for the two of us. My only frustration was the bathroom sinks because for a person like me who is only 5’ tall, the sinks were not only too high, but the lip was too deep. I had to stand on my tippy toes to brush my teeth without making a mess. I have a bad back and leg, which made it even more difficult. I wish places would stop building everything for 6’ tall people.

The suite was beautiful and spacious. We appreciated the location, however, be aware this is a time share property. Even though we booked through hotels.com we were pressured from the time we checked in to attend a sales presentation. Even after refusing, we received daily texts to try and persuade us to attend.
