Dry snot on bunk bed wall

We wanted to celebrate our daughter's bday with an overnight stay, and next morning at Disney. The room was dirty, including snot on the wall where the bunk bed was. While disappointing that one daughter did not sleep on the bunk (she chose this for her bday but ultimately, she slept in a bed which we are greateful for) but we just felt that uncleanliness was disgusting. We will not be returning here.

Nice room for 4 adults. Good view of the park. Parking is a little steep. Good location for a Disney run weekend. Super nice manager.

The hotel looked recently remodeled and fairly clean (but dusty). The staff were kind but everyone we interacted with was very inexperienced. We received a free upgrade to a “theme park view” room. The view in reality was much further away than it was in the Expedia photos and I was glad I did not pay to book that. The required destination fee where you have to pay the hotel an additional $25 “destination fee” which can then only be used at the onsite restaurants felt like a scammy business practice. The restaurant meals were not good quality especially for the high prices. The staff also made a mistake applying this meal credit to our bill, which they are still working to resolve. The surrounding area is new condo residences, rundown older buildings, or empty lots so I would not walk to Disney as suggested. Overall it was serviceable but I would not return.

Check in was very slow, no staff at front desk at 10.20pm. However, the staff went over and above for the rest of our stay. Hotel is immaculate and has everything. Definitely recommend!

I had an amazing stay at The VIV! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was far better than I imagined, and I left feeling impressed and well taken care of. I can’t wait to come back for another stay soon!

My reservation was canceled, they kept saying my card was getting declined, I called my bank multiple times, they confirmed it wasn’t anything to do with my card or account it was definitely on the Hotel’s end. After trying multiple cards more than a dozen times, they finally just told me there was nothing they could do, and they’d just have to cancel my reservation. I truly believe my reservation was simply given to someone else. Maybe they overbook and simply didn’t want to tell me that. The declined transaction wasn’t even coming up on my bank’s side. The worst part is that the very next morning I was charged for the room. On a card that was “declined” more than a dozen times!!

Marketed as a high-end resort property but delivered more of a middle of the road service. Nice decor, some staff very nice, but little inconsistencies in service that were annoying but still able to overcome. We expected more than we received
