Our stay was scheduled for 2 nights but lasted approx 45min. Hopeing hotels.com will make It right with a full refund. Walked into the room grabbed the A/C remote to turn on some air and it was covered in ants. Then I noticed ants on the shelf the remote was on and they were scattering. Then I Inspected the room and noticed there were no pillows and ants crawling on the bed. Walked into the bathroom and it appeared like the toilet hadn’t been flushed from someone previously, attempted to flush it and the toilet was broken. I went back down to the lobby to tell the desk worker about the issues and request a refund, he said I needed to reach out to Expedia. Then I reached out to hotels.com on the online chat because my phone does not work internationally, about the issue and they attempted to contact the property which had no luck even though the receptionist was laying on the couch in the lobby. As I stood in the room(because was to grossed out, to touch anything, by the amount of ants everywhere). Needless to say they just credited me $25 of one cash (or what ever it’s called) for the nights and I was on my own to find a room for the night. Keep in mind this is now 1am in downtown Cancun.
Old hotel , no elevator,no handicap accessible , small twin beds ,no working Ac unit , garbage and dead plants outside ,only showered,but left to get a better hotel in a hood safe area
Bugs, dirty, no hot water, 1 towel half used shampoo was not at the Beach as advertised and changed Hotels 2 days prior to checkout, therefore want my money back.
Thé picture in the add is far from reality. The place is in super bad shape. Even the towel that I got had several holes, I could pass my hand thru the towel. There was mold and smelled humidity. thought it was a joke but cameras never showed up so it was real crap.
The place was nothing compared to the pictures. The toilet was dirty, it even had pubic hair and pee around the seat. The door didn’t latch well.. The only counter in the room was extremely dirty and almost falling off the wall. There were cracks on the floors and the sink had broken tiles. The only window in the bathroom was broken. There was a lot of graffiti outside of the hotel as well as garbage everywhere. The only good thing I can say that is that guy at the reception was super nice and friendly.
Staff was friendly but this was the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. Nothing like the photos. Stained sheets, pillow cases, and towels… someone wiped boogers all over the walls…
This was the worst experience I ever had. The hotel was closed when we arrived. We have to wait about 30 minutes outside the door and the neighborhood is not one of the safest. There was ants on the bed so we couldn't even sleep on the bed. The bed sheets were dirty and there was no blankets at all. We try to use the shower and a centipede came out of the drain. We didn't use it anymore since we were afraid more bugs would come out of it. The walls were all dirty and what looked like blood stains. There was blood in one of the garbage can as well. The door did not close properly. Etc. We couldn't even sleep at all. The only reason we didn't leave was because i couldn't get another hotel room right away but we did leave in the morning.
