Staff were not warm, welcoming and friendly. I think bell boys were nicer than the actual front desk, they kept taking us back and forth to two different areas before finally checking us in, food sucked and made us feel full fast, we're 100% certain there are chemicals put into it to fill you up faster, it's a super small resort so if you're looking for lots to do, this is not the hotel for it. The room however was great it was a 2 room suite which is perfect if you're traveling with kids and/or family because it's not huge and you're not going to be overwhelmed with lots to do, staff does not go onto beach to bring drinks you have to go to the bars, but i'd most likely not come back to this hotel.

The oven view family room was spacious and the view was fantastic. We had two balconies and plenty of room for 6 people. There was a sofa bed as well.

Limitted food options. Reservation process to get a table on the three al carte restaurants could be better (make reservation available through phone, increase seating availabilities). Quality of guest service is spotty at best - Ismael and Francisco at the bar, and diana our floor server were a few that were genuinely very helpful. Room could use an update - toilet water stoped working on us one morning. Tried to enjoy our stay in the property nonetheless, despite the inconvenience.

We like the staff service , food and drinks were excellent what we did not like in the room the Air Condition was unable to control, the shower was very poor the functions came a really hot water or really cold water can’t be adjusted, the elevator it was very hot all the time no fan or Air Condition the room was looks old. And finally I did not receive the room that I reserved.

Although the service was beyond good. Everyone was very welcoming and warm. However the food was terrible. The restaurants and the buffet had very bad quality food. So many pork items mixed with other meets, cros contaminated with pork. Items out on buffet say beef when in reality they have pork inside them. So it was a bad experience food wise. Also the rooms e not cold meanwhile when they be showing us the sweets those rooms were cold . But regular rooms were not cold at all . We had to ask for a fan during our whole stay there. I loved the service everyone was so nice. But plz work on the food the food is extremely bad. The whole time there I haven’t seen not even one shrimp. Like the kitchen us horrible. If u looking for cold rooms and good food this isn’t for u. But we had fun overall nice stay could’ve been epic if the food was Muslim friendly.

95% of people on this resort were from Mexico and all spoke nothing but spanish. The staff knew very little Spanish also, but I'm guessing that's due to them catering only to Mexican tourist. The buildings structure is falling a part in a lot of places. Restaurants only had fans, but that did not help with the heat so everyone was sweating like pigs. Bartenders needs tips or they pretend not to see you and serve others. Seaweed was a lot on the beach and no one cleaning. Hardrock hotel had someone cleaning every morning so water was beautiful with very little seaweed. We arrived at airport and hotel did not provide taxi service for us so we had to pay $20 USDper head. When you arrive you have to pay a hotel tax per head which we were not aware of and thought this was also covered. We came back July 13th 2025 and have been sick to our stomach with diarrhea and puking and it's now July 17th. Another person ended up getting hives. Overall never will go back here ever. Terrible experience.

This is a difficult review to write. The staff was fantastic. We loved the bartenders, especially in the adult pool. The servers in the Mexican restaurant were also top notch and attentive. Now the down side. Had I known this property sells day passes, I would have never booked here. The pools are too small for this as are the property buffets. The process to make a reservation in one of the restaurants for dinner is ridiculous. You essentially have to be in line at 7AM to begin making a reservation in a restaurant. Even then, they may not give you a reservation. They told us that they have to save spots for premium and club members that "might" want to dine. Our last night, we had to fight for a reservation at 7:30. For the duration of our meal, we were the only people in the restaurant. This is a terrible company policy. I would not book here again.

Property was nice, some areas could use some work. Pools and rooms were clean. Buffet food was ok but not much variety, same things everyday. Restaurants were nice but food mediocre. The staff was phenomenal, very helpful and always available. The shows were pretty good. Saw Michael Jackson show and Circus show, both were entertaining. It felt like majority of people were nearby residents. Family vibes but overall pretty quiet. Small and nice but I would probably go for a larger resort next time.

The staff is great!! They are friendly and provide excellent service. We did not like that we had to make reservation every day if we wanted to eat in a restaurant. We had ti wake up at 7 , there was a big line and when you finally get your turn, the restaurants were booked. The restaurants were too small and I find it very inconvenient being on vacation and have to wake up early if you want to eat in a restaurant, we ended eating on the buffet pretty much every day. The buffet was ok not too good. The drinks did not cocktails were terrible, very sweet no alcohol even when we asked to make it stronger. There is no much entertainment, the theater has some shows, but there is nothing on the stage , no decoration or whatsoever. The pools were kind of dirty and too hot. The first day was not too bad , but the next days there was stuff floating. I would not go back.
