Our room wasn't as clean as we'd expect, the bathroom floor was sticky. Beds were comfortable. The heating/cooling wasn't functioning properly and our room was very hot!

I had a wonderful stay at the La Quinta by Wyndham Chicago O'Hare Airport. I chose this hotel mainly because it's within walking distance of Allstate Arena—I was in town for the Kylie Minogue concert, and it couldn't have been more convenient! Even though I’m fairly local to Chicago, getting out of the arena after a show—whether you're Ubering or driving—is always a nightmare. Staying nearby made the whole experience way less stressful. The hotel itself was super clean, and the front desk staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the heating/air conditioning system. When I got to the room, the heat was blasting, and there didn’t seem to be an option to switch it over to A/C—just a fan setting. I prefer a cooler room when I sleep, and this left it a bit lukewarm for my taste. That said, it was only for one night, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re planning to see a show at Allstate Arena. Property is pretty old and garbage all around the perimeter of the parking lot. They dont advertise it but you have to pay 20$ per night for parking. Road to the hotel lobby is half done. AC in the room only works sometimes, will get extemely loud and hot.
