Very welcoming upon entrance.😀 This is an older hotel… tired but still very comfy. Good value. Received a discount card to the attached restaurant /bar “Land and Lake” service and the food was very good. Small menu but something for everyone. Drink menu fun. The updated vibe was industrial chic . It is so quiet here even though it is near the airport. The king bed/pillows were super comfy. The only thing is there are two hotels here at the same desk Holiday Inn and Staybridge. It’s a little confusing, but you have a room type for every traveler. My room was complete with the refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and stove top and a nice couch and small basic cable, but I was so tired from traveling. I didn’t care so much about it. Woke up this morning refreshed albeit a bit jet laggish! 😊

There are so many positives about this hotel, but the housekeeping staff and housekeeping managers need to be fired! When we got there, the pillows and sheets smelled like BO, and we couldn’t get housekeeping to replace linens with the right sized ones because they couldn’t understand English. Housekeeping only provided service every other day, and knocked on the door to clean the room when the do not disturb sign was on. They didn’t have any hair conditioner in the bathroom and didn’t restock with enough soap or toilet paper. Also, housekeepers didn’t know how to make the bed. The sheets were obnoxiously wrinkled and falling off,. I had to make the bed myself every night, but the wrinkles in the sheets were soooo uncomfortable! Also, if we hadn’t had to constantly call the front desk with housekeeping complaints, this would have been a perfect stay. Just too bad

The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. I had been traveling for two weeks and needed to do laundry. One of the front desk people walked me to the laundry room to make sure that I would find it. Use of the washers and dryers was complimentary; my only expense for laundry was buying detergent for the washing machines. Also, the rooms had a very useful amenity: a laundry basket. Rather than stuffing my dirty clothes in a suitcase for the trip to the laundry room and back, I could use the laundry basket. How handy! I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay, including breakfast and the airport shuttle provided by the hotel.
