Great place to stay in central Christchurch

Check in was efficient and friendly. Our room had an excellent shower and had good heating. The kitchen had everything we needed for easy meals but there is also plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from in the area. We would stay again and recommend.

Whether it was walking around city centre, getting on the tram or taking the car to the gondola, Antarctic Centre, etc. The unit was clean & tidy with plenty of room to move, with all day sun. I liked the location in a quiet area of the city on a lightly trafficked main road. A 10 minute walk to the centre of Christchurch, 3-5 minutes to several restaurants and, though it’s not my thing, a stone’s throw from the casino. The couple who own/operate the motel were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Nicely appointed clean and spacious unit with kitchenette and high water pressure shower helped make my stay very enjoyable.
