Cantón Tibas accommodation from NZ$182

The room was spacious and nice. We arrived late at night (10 pm ish) and had to call the hotel three times for the shuttle. The total wait time was almost an hour. Everytime we called we were told 10 minutes…. The breakfast was amazing and some of the best food I have ever had. The front desk seemed annoyed with any questions on both stays so we avoided them. I did not think they were friendly which was strange as everywhere else (La Fortuna) was super friendly. On our second stay the shuttle was a 2 minute drive and was available to just walk on. The convience of the shuttle was amazing on the way back- The hour wait coming in was horrible as you get bombarded with people trying to offer you rides and sell you things while you wait at the airport- very uncomfortable.

Andres, the front desk agent, was pleasant, friendly and gave a warm welcome. The room was clean, spacious, had all the needed amenities. The rooms had good noise control and I enjoyed quiet restful periods Bed was comfortable and sheets smelled clean The pool had debris on the surface but it was windy. Would have liked to see it being removed occasionally. Breakfast was good and had a few options. The staff were amazing The shuttle service was exceptional and the drivers helpful. The gym had enough equipment for use while on vacation. A wide array of weights and a weight bench was all I needed. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would definitely choose them the next time
