Muscatine County accommodation from NZ$132

Room facing the Mississippi was wonderful. We will stay there again.

Last minute booking, pleased with location, cleanliness and professional staff. Breakfast was good too.

While the hotel was very nice, I have three suggestions: 1.) I checked in very late on Thursday evening, October 8. The girl with whom I interacted was a "low talker." I am hard of hearing, and I had to ask her to repeat what she was saying several times. Her English was somewhat garbled. 2.) The towels in my room were changed every day; however, nobody made the bed. One of the nice things of staying in a hotel is having the bed freshly made each day. This did not happen. 3.) The breakfast needs some variety. Offer some bacon, instead of just sausage. Also, the coffee tasted kind of stale. 4.) When I checked out, there was a young man at the desk. I said I wanted to check out. He smiled at me and took my key. He did not say anything else. Not sure what his deal was. I said, "Am I good?" And he nodded. Very strange.
