St. Louis County accommodation from NZ$136

I'm giving our stay a 1-star because we stayed in Room 222, and the ice machine next to the room was making so much noise every minute. I didn't get any sleep at all, but we got in at midnight and were too tired to go change rooms. This was not the first time I had the same experience staying there, but it’s convenient because it’s close to the airport and I can leave my car there. Maybe next time, I’ll tell them to put us away from elevators and ice machines.

Amazing

A really weird thing happened to us in the hotel restaurant. We ordered dinner, food was OK. Waitress asked if we were paying cash or credit card. I said cash. She went to the register and came back and told us verbally that it would be $48 (which I think may have included the cranberry juice that didn't come). No paper bill. I gave her $60 expecting her to come back with change. No change, she just came backa few minutes later and said "have a nice evening." I thought OK, she got a nice tip but I'm not going to fight about it. But the whole thing was weird. Also a bit strange checking in that they had a hard time finding our Expedia reservation.
