Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts - accommodation in Downtown Toronto

We were very disappointed when we checked in on May 8th, that the room and recorded preferences were not available and was not confirmed. As a senior and disabled couple, this was very stressful. We had to ask to speak to the manager. I even called the hotel directly on Monday, May 5, to see if the details and requests were confirmed and they agreed. Finally after a long wait we got a room near the elevator and the room was very clean.! We used the pool which was a large size and close to the elevator. Also, when we checked out the price that Expedia had confirmed was not followed up at the hotel and instead we’re charged a higher price. We highly recommend the wonderful staff that were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The security guard help us with our disable parking and went the extra mile. Our two evenings were spend in the hotel dining room Thirty and the food was amazing and very delicious.. The dining room Thirty staff were very helpful and professional. We didn’t want to eat anywhere else. Overall I would return to this hotel.
