Getting Around Dublin

Flights to Dublin Airport (DUB) touch down about 12km from the city centre, and the AirLink express bus can get you downtown in no time.

The city centre is easy to get around on foot, and there are two tram lines if your toes get tired. Better yet, take a taxi. Dublin has as many cabs as New York City!

When You Land…

In Ireland, early birds get the…bacon. And sausage, eggs, toast and tea. Head to Talbot Street in the early morning for a full Irish breakfast like none other.

If you don’t want to rise with the sun, book an afternoon flight to Dublin and get some sleep on the plane. Then rise like a mythical creature instead at Phoenix Park, home to everything from the zoo to gardens and forts. Landing at night? Take an evening kayak tour of the River Liffey or head to the theatres of Dame Street for cultural pursuits.
