From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty and elegance of this historic hotel. The property is immaculately maintained, blending timeless charm with modern luxury. Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and committed to providing outstanding service. The food was truly first-class. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making dining at the resort an experience in itself. The fitness center exceeded my expectations. It was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a great workout while traveling. The pool area was simply luxurious. It was the perfect place to relax, with comfortable seating, beautiful surroundings, and an atmosphere that made it feel like a true resort getaway. If you’re planning a trip to Galveston and want a hotel that combines history, luxury, outstanding amenities, and exceptional service, I highly recommend the Grand Galvez Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning on our next visit to Galveston.

The updating is very nice, though a few little corners may have been skipped! Nothing intolerable! Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was very clean! Only downfall for us, pool area closed at 10pm and we went to sit out and relax and enjoy the gulf breeze by the pool (not swim), but were told we had to leave by 10! Felt like a child with a curfew!

There is a sense of luxury just walking up to the hotel but especially once you get inside. I was promptly greeted at the check in desk and was given great customer service. The room was a nice size, had a great view of the ocean, and was clean. The hotel is as close as you can get to the ocean in Galveston. They had several daily activities for both adults and children which was great since we have a young daughter. I would definitely stay here again!
