We stayed on the motel side. We were two families and rooms were clean and comfortable. The surrounding area felt safe and it was very convenient to many eating places and amenities, all walking distance. It is close the Grand Canyon National Park. I would stay here again.

The front desk workers were always friendly and accommodating. We added another night to our stay and at first were told we would not be able to keep the same room, but when we went to check out for the first night and inquired about the room availability for the next night they did some shuffling of rooms and we were able to keep our same room.

The end of September is a nice time of year to visit The Grand Canyon. The Lodge is clean, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. This is our 3rd time staying at the Red Feather Lodge. It’s not as expensive as other places nearby, but also doesn’t offer much for amenities. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar is nice, and our kids have enjoyed the pool in the past. The beds are pretty soft, but not awful. Our room was clean, and well stocked with towels and had toiletries available. They don’t use down or feather- which is perfect for those of us that are highly allergic. We didn’t use the other amenities this time as we spent our time at The Grand Canyon. It also allows dogs, which is great if you’re travelling with your fur babies!
