Not handicapped friendly

Surprised how outdated the thunderbird was, considering the price per night & according to notice on the door they command 500/night at some point. Absolutely not handicap or senior friendly. No elevators, numerous stair cases & most require a keycard to pass thru. No drop off parking so you can unload luggage. No microwave & frig did not have freezer section to refreeze ice packs. Expected more considering the room cost

We loved our stay at The Thunderbird Lodge. Would have been just a little bit nicer to have a common area in which to gather to chat, play cards. We would definitely go back!
