This amazing 2-bedroom home is in the heart of all the action yet located on a quiet cul-de-sac for a restful night's sleep.

Off-street parking for our VRBO guests only. Street parking not allowed in University Heights. On football game days there will be vehicles parked in the front yard near the street. Our VRBO guests will always have parking in the driveway (parking pad not for VRBO guest parking).

This 2-bedroom house in Iowa City is in the perfect location for awesome game days. This beautiful property features 2 queen beds, perfect for a small group of guests (4-adults). With amenities like central air, WiFi, coffee bar, large TV for streaming, 2 bathrooms (1 tub and 2 showers), a deck with a gas barbecue grill and backyard space for gathering. Your stay will be convenient and comfortable.

In addition to our prime location for Hawkeye football and tailgating we are also walking distance to the University of Iowa Hospital and an easy drive or ~25-minute walk to downtown Iowa City.

We have thought of all your basic needs providing kitchen essentials, towels, bedding, hair dryer, shampoo, shower soap, hand soap, and starter paper goods. The kitchen is well appointed with all the basis needs including toaster, air fryer, and coffee bar. A gas barbecue grill is available on the deck for your use, please make sure to turn off the gas after use. Utensils for the barbecue grill are located in the large green pantry.

3. Tidy up - No deep cleaning needed, just a quick general tidying. Please strip the beds and leave bedding on the beds. Please clean up any messes.
4. Consolidate trash, please gather all trash in the provided trash cans.
5. Lock Up - Ensure all doors and windows are locked.
6. Contact us before leaving if there any concerns or questions or have any damages to report.

Great communication with the host. Perfect location for a football weekend. Easy, short walk to the stadium. We inquired about a grill and there was not one. Within a day I received a message from the host they purchased one and we were free to use it.

Charming midcentury ranch

The home is a classic midcentury ranch style with room for 2 couples. The new master bathroom is beautiful and if the weather is warm, the deck and backyard view would be great. It’s nice to have ample off street parking. The location is top rate. If you have the chance, Stella’s is a great burger place. Linens and towels are fresh and of good quality and quantity. If you plan on meal prep, you will need to bring mixing bowls and other baking items to be able to cook with ease. The kitchen is minimally stocked. The coffee bar is really nice. We would stay here again! Thanks, Kim.

Football weekend

This house is ideal for a Fri/Sat game weekend. It’s less than 10 minute walk to Kinnick, through the tailgates south of Melrose. High energy, super fun walk. The house is small but great for two couples. Each BR and its own bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped for pregame tailgating from a comfortable house, with a back deck overlooking a forested ravine and room in the front yard and mostly quiet street for yard games. The host was the attentive and friendly. We didn’t need anything, but I am confident anything within reason would have been provided had we asked.

We had 4-5 cars in the front house because of the game, the 2nd bedroom smelled like cat pee. We will do a hotel next time.
