We booked our stay months ago. We arrived at check in to discover the hotel canceled our reservation- did not contact hotels .com about this- or us. The manager and general Manager blamed using a third party as part of problem. This was parents weekend which we drove 3.5 hours to get to. This caused us to spend way more for two separate hotels and miss going out with our son. The entire reason for going to parents weekend. The manager never apologized and even lied to us saying they called us and left us a message several times. He was incredibly rude to my wife and I. He should be fired. We know what happen, they wanted to sell our room for more than we paid. Our reservation stated we would pay when we arrived. We had stay at this hotel a couple of times and they had never tried to charge our credit card. The credit card had an updated exploration and that is why it didn't work. No one called us, not the hotel or hotels.com. We are extremely upset and feel the hotel should fire the general manager and compensate us for hotel rooms. We booked with the choice of pay at the property- something we have never had a problem with before. We will

We will definitely stay here in the future. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was great. The location is perfect for University campus visits...walking distance. Parking garage was safe, convenient, and inexpensive.
