Nice, clean, compact rooms with decent sized shower. Breakfast is good. Nice coffee. The location is very good - not on a busy road, but it is incredibly steep, so anyone with mobility issues would have to get a taxi to the garage beneath the hotel where there's lift access. There's a very large convenience store on Kimberley Road, a 1 min walk from the hotel and there's plenty of cafes and restaurants very close by. Very friendly staff - one younger chap advised a few local bars close by and they were great. I'd stay again.

The staff and overall customer service was beyond exceptional. From the check-in to requesting pillows to housekeeping everyone was absolutely accommodating. Large rooms with great bedding. Strong, hot shower where night. No chlorine smell and no itching or dryness after showers. Very quiet building and rooms. Nearly a perfect stay. One problem. The beds were hard. No more so than everywhere else in China but it was hard on my neck. The staff provided lots of comforters and pillows but I would not sleep there again. Also, there is a steep hill to the property. Not an easy climb, but I did fine with it.

We had a surprisingly spacious room facing greenery, which is rare for such a central location in the city! The breakfast buffet was a nice amenity, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. Laundry was available at a shop across the street.

First time in HK w my wife. Stayed here 6 nights. Location was central to metro, shops, lots of food options. We were able to easily walk to Temple Street, Ladies Market, Sneaker Street, Avenue of the Stars, 1881 Heritage area; all over TST and Kowloon. Hotel is between TST and Jordan MTR stations so Lantau Island (Disneyland) and HK island were easily accessible. One small drawback is that this hotel sits on a steep hill. Not fun with large luggage and a pain after a long day of walking around HK all day, but manageable. The room itself was near perfection, especially for the price. Clean, amenity filled, perfect size for 2. Not a lot of options of TV channels but we only watched TV as we were about to sleep or getting ready in the morning, so not a big dealbreaker for us. The bed was slightly uncomfortable as they were super firm. I personally like firmer beds, but my wife doesn’t so not the firmness we’re personally used to for a hotel. Staff were super friendly and accommodating to our needs. Check out staff graciously helped us book a taxi out to the airport. Also, breakfast buffet every morning came with our booking package. Honestly some of the best quality foods we tasted during our trip in all of HK. I would recommend Hillview solely for the breakfast.

Large, well-appointed and clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Two things I found less than perfect: (1) Public areas were kept very cold. When you exit the room dressed for the local climate its quite unpleasant. (2) Hotel is at top of long hill creating a bit of a slog when returning. Slippery when wet.
