Peace and quiet in a street that rarely sleeps!

Pros: Lovely and helpful staff. Quiet retreat in a busy street! Clean and comfortable rooms with a touch of luxury. walking distance to food and city sights
Cons: Internet was difficult in our rooms (ground floor). We found we had more success in the lobby
Location: Perfect location close to eat street ( + great local restaraunt next door), 10 min to the light rail (city access) and walking distance to major shop
The staff were welcoming and incredible helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great character (loved the bathrooms). The hotel architecture had a traditional feel, which was enhanced by the wooden furnishings. We stayed on the ground floor and had no issues with noise, although rooms on the floors above would most likely have less foot traffic. Despite its amazing location ( 5min to jalan alor, 10min to Pavilion, 25min to KLCC), the hotel is tucked away with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights and were really happy with our choice.

Comfortable hotel in a great location

Pros: The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a great part of the city.
Cons: Nothing really. It is what it is.
Location: Great food and shopping near by. Short walk to Petaling St and other places of interest. The hop-on hop-off bus stops just outside the hotel
We stayed 3 nights at the Anggun Hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However we moved from one of the internal facing rooms to a room with a view over the street which was worth the extra cost. The hotel staff were great and the hotel itself is around the corner from one of the best eat streets in KL.

Simple but charming. Great location!

Anggun lives up to it's name as a boutique hotel. It is quite basic but charming, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is excellent - just a short walk from major shopping areas and monorail station. Has a rooftop breakfast area that can be accessed all day - lovely spot to chill out!

Pros: Great rooms, professional staff, lots of good food options close by.
Cons: No public transport but plenty of taxi's and the hop on hop off bus stops in the street.
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Good for what you get.; Service: Professional, Respectful, Courteous; Cleanliness: Spotless; By far the best of several hotels we stayed in in Malaysia.

Pros: Location was excellent and it was a small, friendly atmospheric hotel
Cons: They forgot to renew my complimentary water and coffee and tea one day
Location: Tranquil, Close to everything, Just right, Monorail is BB (not Imbi)
Facilities: Nice , Distinctive; Value: Affordable; Service: Polite; Cleanliness: Spotless; Next street is Jalan Alor...the foodie street

Pros: Walking distance to Bukit Bintang shopping malls, but very dirty slum area.
Cons: Room not the same as advertised. Receptionist kept changing the price of the airport bus. The last price they gave me was more expensive than a taxi.
Location: Central, Slum area very dirty
Facilities: Nothing special; Value: Over-priced, Not as advertised; Service: Amateur; Cleanliness: Very clean; Wouldn't go there again nor recommend it to anyone else. Highly overpriced!
