Lake Wakatipu Tours and Activities

Really great location, easy walking distance to all the key sites. The room was small but had all the necessary amenities and was cosy to come back to each night. Big plus having the coffee vending machine on each level plus the public spaces like the social room and rooftop were great to sit for a meal or just a break.

Spire Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is fantastic, catering to both city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts. The room was superb, offering a beautiful view, comfort, and cleanliness. The breakfast was simply amazing, and the staff treated us with exceptional personal attention and genuine friendliness.

Great hosts great location

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. First thing u need to know is the 3rd bedroom downstairs has a single bed. This threw things out for us as our youngest didn't want to sleep downstairs on her own, so our giant teenager had to have a single bed while the younger child had a double bed all to themselves. Knowing the layout would have changed my decision. The downstairs of the villa was freezing, the air con wasn't working properly. How a property doesn't have proper heating in the NZ winter is beyond me. We asked for it to be fixed, they brought over some small heaters. That warmed it up, housekeeping them took them away the following day. Housekeeping was so hit and miss. Some days they replaced a couple of towels, others all, other just took out the rubbish etc. Kitchen not properly stocked made it hard to cook. Villa 53 car park is not in front of the unit. Such a bizarre set up.

We had an incredible stay at Panorama Terrace Queenstown! The view from the unit was simply breathtaking waking up to those stunning lake and mountain vistas was the highlight of our trip. The location is perfect, close enough to walk into town while still feeling peaceful and quiet. The easy self check-in process made everything so seamless from start to finish booking was straightforward and hassle-free. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Queenstown. The beds were extremely comfortable (honestly some of the best sleep we've had on holiday!), and the unit was very clean and well presented. We would absolutely stay here again, can't wait to come back!!
