Uncomfortable pillows & beds

The beds were horrible and pillows were even worse. Pillows were bumpy and very very uncomfortable. And I had never had worse breakfast in any hotel. Eggs were like plastic and there were not too many options. They run out of juice during two days I was there.

When I checked in they didn't even acknowledge my request I made when I reserved the 2 rooms. We asked for either connecting rooms or at least close to each other. They had us on 2 different floors until I complained. She said they were booked and I said well that's not going to work for me so she looked and gave us rooms on the same floor. I booked thru Expedia and made the option to pay at the hotel but the hotel charged me the day before. They also required a deposit which is not on the Expedia website. The pool was ok. The hottub/spa was much to be desired. It was lukewarm, the water was very cloudy and jets barely worked.

There were several shady individuals hanging out in the parking lot when we pulled in. Thankfully, it rained pretty hard shortly after checking in, so those people would have needed to either leave or return to their rooms. The rear parking lot was blocked off with traffic cones, yet there was a truck parked back there the entire length of our stay. Check in was fine, but the hallways wreaked of marijuana. Our room was absolutely freezing when we got there. When it started raining, water literally poured into our room via the window. The window, however was not open at all. Luckily, the water did not flood our room or cause an issue with the air conditioning unit positioned directly under the window. I was concerned the water may cause a hazardous situation being near electricity. I can only hope the room beneath us didn’t have water coming down from our floor. Checkout was easy as I was able to do it online. Other than these issues, we only stayed one night, so it was bearable.

Everything was great, with just a couple minor things. The bathroom stool was very low. We are used to the taller models, which are easer on our knees. And, I forgot my lotion and didnt find any in the room. Otherwise, everything was clean and comfortable.

I liked that they offered breakfast, which was fine. The staff were friendly. What I didn't like was that some of the guests going for breakfast did not look very clean. Some went in their robes. It just didn't look proper.

Usually Days Inn wouldve been a NO-NO if it wasnt our whole RUGBY TEAM staying there. But, as the saying goes "Never judge books by its cover!". Everything about this hotel was a BLESSING !! Clean Rooms, Great Room Services, Front office personnel was TOP TIER. I would recommend this hotel a million times. Thank you for you hospitality and keeping our Young Womens Rugby Team safe 🙏
