Excellent stay! Very clean, comfortable. Access to the kitchen equipment was a pleasant bonus. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Sherry, the owner, host and housekeeper was very friendly and helpful if needed anything.

We stayed at Mayor Lord's for a parents' weekend at Allegheny College and it was perfect. We walked to campus to see our student and enjoyed the community breakfasts. The setting was quiet, scenic and easy to find.

Beautiful Carriage House!
We stayed in Clare's Room in the carriage house, and it was fantastic! The room is gorgeous and spacious, and the shared spaces (kitchen, dining, sitting areas) are also beautiful and comfortable. The manager was always available and friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed. We loved spending the weekend here, and we'll be back.

Labor Day weekend 2023
I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it very much. I tried a new room this time: the Garden Studio apartment. Very spacious rooms, nice bathroom, kitchen area had everything I needed for a 4 day stay. The only item that was unexpected was the noise generated from the apartment above the Garden Studio. Fortunately it wasn't often and didn't last long but it did happen very early one morning.
