The staff were lovely, we had arrived early to leave our luggage until room was ready. When we were able to access our room later, it was on the 3rd floor which was fine as there is an elevator. The room was fairly large but the bathroom was very small. The shower was one of the smallest I’ve seen plus a tiny basin which was very difficult to use without splashing water around it. The shower was good and hot - just not much room. The hotel is very close to the railway line and we didn’t realise how noisy it was until in the room. It was very difficult to sleep until very early in the morning when the trains became less frequent. Location otherwise was great as the trams run from nearby Spencer Street and it wasn’t far to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants and cafes. We would probably stay again n the future but I will be taking good earplugs and ensuring we stay in a room on the other side of the hotel

It was the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in you heard every train like it was at your window. The shower you thought had right then would just about scold you. Stale cigarette smell in room and air conditioner kept cutting out. Disappointed at the room. The location is wonderful as can jump on a tram or train.

The room is tight but to be fair it is called a shoebox. The location is convenient. Quick walk to the trams. Friendly staff. The hotel is clean. Don’t expect anything flash. Decent stay.
