Beautiful modern period conversion townhouse in the heart of Collingwood near Victoria Parade end. It is also right next to the food and entertainment precinct on Smith and Gertrude Street. It is literally a 10min walk to the CBD and 2 mins by car. There are trams just a minute walk from the doorstep on Gertrude and Victoria Parade and takes you straight to the CBD. Also walkable to the MCG and various Parks. Property has 2 bedroom upstairs with a living area with a sofa bed. A seperate dining and kitchen with bathroom and laundry downstairs. There is also a large backyard for outdoor dining.

Dirty and Smelly!

Unfortunately the property was not presented well: dirty and greasy cooking equipment, dust and hair on the floors. There was also a pungent smell of vermin (dead or alive?) that meant that it was not a pleasant stay given the price we paid for it. Further, there was one scourer pad and no other cleaning cloths or brushes for doing dishes or wiping benches, which makes it difficult to get and keep things clean. I think given the poor kitchen set up, it may be good to include a BBQ out the back for people to enjoy instead of being constrained to the kitchen that did not have baking/roasting trays. Certainly needs some work to continue on this platform or significantly drop the rental price.

Perfect base for exploring Melbourne

Beautiful, well-equipped property with quiet courtyard but just a few steps from restaurants and friendly quiet bars. Easy stroll down to the MCG and the Yarra. Excellent communication with host.
