The breakfast menu had a wide enough range of options. It really ids difficult to mess up breakfast. Room service breakfast was terrible! first night the order was not collected, on both occasions some part of the order was missed. Interesting that this review only includes the areas that are ok, but the areas that are not, there is no request for a rating. The room was supposed to be upgraded but our view was a partial sea view over a rooftop that had 2 large noisy extractor fans running 24/7. Dinners at restaurants (that are not buffet) must be booked 2 days in advance! So it’s buffet for the first 2 nights. Front desk did not give us cards that are require beach towels around the pool, this is a feature that attracts a $20 charge for cards not returned. If you are a tea drinker these rooms are not equipped for you. No kettle and no tea bags. Lots of liquor and a lot of loud drunk people around the property. We stayed here in 2015 and it was a really great stay. This property is a shadow of its former self. Definitely won’t be returning.

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing from start to finish. The ceiling in my room leaked, and there was visible rust on nearly every pipe and handle in the bathroom. The floor was consistently wet to the point that we had to place towels down to avoid slipping, which felt unsafe and unacceptable. There was little to no ventilation in the room, making temperature control a constant issue—it was either uncomfortably cold or excessively hot, with no balance in between. For an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, the pool closing at 6:00 PM was extremely surprising and frankly unreasonable. That alone significantly limited the experience. The food was acceptable but nothing memorable or worth recommending to others. I would rate this property as a two-star establishment at best. That said, the staff were friendly, professional, and did their best to accommodate guests despite the condition of the property. I will not return to this location, nor would I recommend it. Compared to other stays at RUI resorts, this was by far the worst experience.

Food trash, resort dated, staff half pleasant, the waitstaff and pool bartenders were cool, but in all, there needs to be some type of customer service training on the resort. The beds were the worst, I’ve scheduled a chiropractor visit and massage since coming back home because of that mattress.. I honestly could go on, but it’s not worth much more of my time; this was my first and last time choosing Riu. To the point I searched for alternative accommodations on the island at additional cost, but decided to just spend as much of day off the resort as possible to get it over with

The hotel is nice. Staff could be a bit nicer and on top of things. Food in the restaurants was actually good. Buffet food is good too, but it would be nice if they had different items for their breakfast menu. Their bed is horrible. I woke up with a backache. It would be nice if there were some snacks to go along with the mini bar. Entertainment was great. No service on beach you had to get up walk up the staris everytime you need a drink.

everything is out dated. Rust in the pool, toilet shaking. sheets are old. staff talking bad about the place.. saying years ago RIU was the best Staff complaining over work under paid

The room had a water leak from the air conditioner that made me slip and delayed the start of my vacation due to maintenance having to come in to assess the situation. Curtains were stuck and not the cleanliness. Balcony door stuck and even maintenance had issues with opening it. Cockroach was found in the room. And the thermostat was so outdated or just working so poorly that myself, a friend, and even a housekeeper I asked for assistance could not work the thing to adjust the temperature so my only options were to have the ac on or off unfortunately. Staff was kind. But I need to discuss compensation due to the place not being worth the price at all.

Dated property. Need updating. Food wasn’t great. Jamaica was amazing Riu. This one not so much. Also not great service. Not bad, but not what I’d expect.

Everything was wonderful, not one complaint from me. The food was good, drinks good, and last but not least no kids!!! I had a blast highly recommended. Pricey but worth it

Yes room was nice and clean ,staff was very friendly and pleasant. Only thing not to many activities or no music playing though out the place seem very quiet not a good party vibe.
