surprisingly good view

I was pleasantly surprised. For NYC it was very affordable and yet still clean and had everything we needed. Laura and all the staff, were very nice and always helpful. The room we had on a upper floor, had a pretty ok view of all the biggies Empire State/ Ect. Its not the Ritz but for the price it was great...

I want to complain for cleaning. It’s a disaster. I lost previously cleaning ( hotel cleaning just 1 time per week ) and 2 days I try ask for change garbage. No one came even after call 3 times at the reception.

Staff very helpful and room was very clean. The big challenge was maintenance, toilet seat would not stay up in bathroom, refrigerator was leaking water on food because ice was melting from freezer above, and bathroom door would not close completely, The faucet in the bathroom outside of workout area was not secured tightly to the vanity.

The hotel is perfectly located: close to everything but still safely tucked away from the noise and chaos that is Times Square. The amenities were excellent- full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kitchenette with sink, kettle, cooktop, as well as ironing board, iron, hairdryer and a safe. Bathroom was outfitted with dispensers with Dove products, including body wash and creams. We loved the idea of the Lending Library and free laundry facilities. We were given a lovely little "check-in package", and the staff were absolutely top-notch- fast, friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet- definitely a bit worn and dated, but that's to be expected in an older busy property and we felt safe and comfortable there. Bed was comfortable, linens were perfect. Pillows a bit too soft and flat for our liking - but seriously: who ever doesn't really miss their own pillow from home? The elevators were surprisingly fast- even during check in/out. We had hot water for our showers during our entire day, no matter when we bathed. The rates were excellent. Wifi was speedy. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

The Staff made this hotel shine; from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was very lovely and utterly professional. The rooms were very clean, as were all the common areas. Though the hotel is older, they keep it well-maintained. Gold stars all around.

It is located about two blocks from Port Authority Midtown transit hub, and is walking distance from many theaters. Therel are countless restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will be choosing it again next time i am in Manhatten.
