It was okay. The first room I booked for 2 nights right before a snow blizzard. It was a 2 bull bedroom n bath. It was soooooooooo old and out of date. The carpets were dark , lighting was dim, wallpapers ripped and peeling in all corners. It was just not attractive. But we had to stay an extra night, I decided to upgrade since most of the time would be spent in the room. 2 queen beds this time.. BUT while we were relaxing eating dinner and having wine. I turned my my head one minute and peeped a big ROACH on the wall right behind my bed. I was so turned off and wanted to go. So I pledged not to stay in NYC Hotels again lol. Hope that helps

Room is small, but I was traveling alone and the room had a bed, desk, TV, and bathroom, which is all I needed. The location on the UWS is what really makes it. I'll never look for another hotel in NYC again.

The first room I had was on the seventh floor with a drafty window and baseboard heating that failed to warm the room. It was brutally cold outside, which exacerbated the situation. The front desk provided me with a space heater, which didn't help much, so the next morning I changed rooms. The staff were kind about trying to fix the problem.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s basic but very clean, and the location is excellent — close to the metro station and within easy reach of Central Park. What really stood out was the extremely helpful staff; whenever we requested something, it arrived at our room within minutes. A great choice if you’re looking for convenience, cleanliness, and attentive service.
