I had a great experience for the most part but I was a little frustrated at the end. I went to the counter to inquire about a ride to the airport. I was told cash only, like $70. I said I didn’t have any cash and he told me I could go across the street, they had an atm. I went across the street and was told they don’t have an atm and I’d have to walk around the block. I came back and told the gentleman that I was just going to cancel and take an uber cause I don’t have cash. He told me I could pay card, would just be more money. I would have been done paying more in the first place if I was told but he was very clear that it was cash only. I was very frustrated at that point and told him no thanks.

I don’t write reviews often but this hotel was substandard in customer service. Had issues checking in, took almost an hour because the desk agent could not find my reservation despite me showing him the email with confirmation number. I have stayed in New York before and expected the rooms to be small but these rooms were very poorly designed. Had to basically squeeze thru the front door because a cabinet was mounted to the wall behind it preventing it from opening all the way. The shower door swung in causing you to have to squeeze out of it too. I am not a big person by any means. I hit my head on the television in front of the bed several times as there was not enough room to walk by. Staff were extremely rude and not helpful at all. Acted like it was an inconvenience to bring us some extra towels. Staff standing right by the door and would not even offer to hold it open for my handicapped family member in a wheelchair as there was no automatic button to open the door. The room cleanliness was great but other than this I have very few positive things to say. I would not stay at this hotel again given the negative experience.

Pretty much everything about this hotel is great, except they clearly have an elevator traffic problem. I don't know what it is, but we were on the 21st floor and waited over 20 minutes for an elevator before giving up and taking the stairs. This seems to be a morning issue only, but when you need to get out quick and aren't expecting it, it's highly inconvenient.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel itself is clean and beautifully decorated. However, the rooms are smaller than my home bathroom and due to no carpeting in either the rooms or hallway, it was very loud. You could hear everything going on in the hallways as if it was in your entryway. In addition, their method of serving breakfast was not desirable. We stayed on the 14th floor and the restaurant was on the fifth floor. Hotel policy is to meet in the lobby, give your name, stand on line, and when I say Line I mean a lengthy line. They let you know when you can go back to the fifth floor for dining. Even Though this was included in my $499 a night stay, we chose to walk 20 steps across the street to the Dunkin’ Donuts. I wasn’t waiting 30 minutes for a cup of coffee. If I attend another event in the Time Square area, I may go back, but I wouldn’t go as far as recommend this hotel to anyone.
