The buffet was wonderful. It is worth the high price. The room was better than at most 3 star hotels. Public transportation is ok to Manhattan, but it takes a little over one hour. Shuttle to and from airport was great.

Pros: Room was clean, staff was courteous and professional, check in and check out was smooth. Cons: Heating system did not work so well even on max. No remote in the room and was unable to get one until the next day. No gym available on site. Noise at night which made it hard to go to sleep (there is a restaurant/bar downstairs and you can hear everything in your room at night). Box of facial tissues were saturated with water. A part in the shower was broken and on the shower floor. Overall I had an okay stay but would not stay again. I went out of my way to come to this hotel for the amenities, cleanliness, & the gym. I was unable to enjoy a good nights sleep because of the noise and was unable to use the gym.

The hotel/rooms were good. The location and building itself was a little weird for a lack of better words. The hotel is in a building that shares the elevator with 2 Chinese restaurants, a casino and maybe some other stuff. So there is constantly a lot of people that aren’t necessarily staying at the hotel (I wasn’t a huge fan of that for some reason). The hotel room was small but comfortable, we got it serviced everyday. They provide 2 bottles of water when they clean, complimentary. On the 3rd floor there is an ice machine and a water refill station (although it never worked the 4 days I was there). One of the things I didn’t like about the room was that it didn’t have a mini fridge. Which made it inconvenient if we had leftovers because we have no where to put them. Other than that, the hotel was quiet in the area where it was just the rooms etc. The location is a 15 minute bus ride (bus stop thankfully was right outside the hotel parking lot) to the train station line 7 in China Town, which takes you to manhattan if you are a tourist this will be your everyday commute. Overall is would rate it good, the location is a little far from the most common attractions of NYC but if you are willing to walk and use public transportation you can definitely go anywhere and make it back to the hotel the same way. On a side note, the hotel does have a free shuttle to and from LGA airport. I really appreciated that, it made the commute to and from super easy and stress free.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel is directly on top of a Karaoke bar with minimal to no soundproofing. I stayed here and did not sleep at all, all night before my 6 am flight the next day. The noise is ridiculous, I could hear it through noise cancelling headphones. I'd be able to sleep better in the airport, save your money.
